About Nathan
Early Years
Nathan’s artistic expression formed at an early age staying up late building entire cities with Legos. This, combined with his interest in art, caused him to decide on a life in the architecture field shortly after graduating high school.Goal Driven
Nathan is currently pursuing his Architects License and is sitting for his architecture registration exams.
Making Moves
Fresh out of school, Nathan taught himself CAD drafting and got a full time position at Richardson Nagy Martin Architects (RNM) in Newport Beach, CA, where, as a young professional, he was quickly given a high level of responsibility. Nathan accepted this role and ran with it, managing and designing large residential housing projects. Shortly after RNM, Nathan moved onto more exiting endeavors. Spending 2 years as a Job Captain at Mclarand Vasquez Emsiek & Partners (MVE&P) in Irvine, Ca and 4 years as a Job Captain at William Hezmalhalch Architects in Santa Ana, Ca.
Learning Business and Life
In addition to working full-time and studying for licensing exams, Nathan found time to start a small Transportation Brokerage, Autoline Transport. The company initiates long haul auto transportation for auto manufacturers, dealerships, and private shippers. Well over the last few years the company became much more than the ‘nest egg’ it was designed to be. Autoline, which employs 5 full time employees, was able to keep Nathan and his family afloat during the current economic downturn and allowed him to remain focused on his goal of becoming an Architect.
Nathan Hunt Design and Consulting
Forging his love for design and architecture and his innate knack for business and marketing, it was only natural that Nathan Hunt Design Consulting (NHDC) came about.
